百得集团历史
1910年两个年轻的企业家, S. Duncan Black 先生和 Alonzo G. Decker先生在美国马里兰州的巴尔的摩市成立了名为百得（Black & Decker）的制造公司，如今公司的发展已经超过他们当初所能有的任何设想。
1910 – 公司成立；
1920s – 在加拿大、英国和澳大利亚创立分公司，开始迈向国际化；
1950s – 公司跨国业务持续发展，在南非和全欧洲开展业务；
1989 – 两家著名的公司——Price Pfister 和Kwikset，在1989年被Black & Decker集团双双收购；
1999 – PricePfister 和Kwikset两个品牌完成了整合，成立了Black & Decker集团旗下的一个全新事业部——五金及家用器材事业部(BDHHI)；
2003 – 2003年第四季度，百得五金及家用器材事业部（BDHHI）从Masco公司手中以2.75亿美元的价格收购了Weiser锁具和Baldwin两大品牌，使BDHHI的品牌数量从2个增加到了4个；
2005 – 百得集团销售额突破65亿美元。
Two young entrepreneurs, S. Duncan Black and Alonzo G. Decker, founded a small machine shop in Baltimore, Maryland in 1910. They called it the Black & Decker Manufacturing Company. Their shop has grown beyond anything they could have imagined.
1910 – Company founded.
1920s – Company goes International with expansion into Canada, the UK and Australia.
1950s – International expansion continues with operations in South Africa and throughout Europe.
1989 – Two legendary companies – PricePfister and Kwikset - converged both were purchased by Black & Decker.
1999 – PricePfister and Kwikset were merged to produce the new Hardware and Home Improvement Group of Black & Decker (BDHHI).
2003 – The fourth quarter of 2003 brought even bigger news. The $275 million acquisition from Masco Corporation of Weiser Lock and Baldwin Hardware upped from two to four the number of storied brands managed by the Hardware and Home Improvement Group.
2005 – Black & Decker Sales top 6.5 Billion USD.
